Frank C. Aase

Frank C Aase is the managing partner in Brækhus. He specializes in transactions, banking and finance, insolvency, restructuring and litigation.

Aase has previously worked as an in-house lawyer in Nordea Bank Norge ASA and has excellent experience with legal issues related to financing, financial documents, financial restructuring and breach of contracts.

Aase has extensive experience within company law and has assisted several national and international clients with acquisitions and restructuring. His experience also includes bankruptcy proceedings, debt negotiations and assisting creditors. He is frequently appointed as official receiver at the Oslo District Court.

Aase also has wide experience with contract law, law of damages, insurance law and real estate. Aase has worked with major liability issues for architects, engineers in the construction industry, real estate agents and surveyors.  He litigates regularly at court in Norway.

Aase is appointed as a member of the Norwegian Bar Association`s legislation committee regarding bankruptcy, enforcement and debt collecting.

Aase is ranked as “up & coming” within Banking and Finance, and Restructuring and Insolvency in Finansavisens annual survey of Norway’s leading lawyers.
