Alexander Mollan is a lawyer in Brækhus’ department of Technology, Industry and Trade, as well as an associated member in the department of Finance and Corporate.
Alexander has a three-pronged practice. He focuses primarily on technology and ICT law on behalf of everything from start-ups to listed companies, hereunder commercial IT contracts, cyber security, licensing, cloud services and tender preparation and negotiations in connection with major IT projects.
In addition, Alexander advises on compliance-related matters, with an emphasis on privacy, information security, corporate social responsibility, ESG and regulatory issues within the gambling industry. Alexander is ranked by Who’s Who Legal in the Sports and Gaming category, an honour shared with only one other Norwegian lawyer. He also has good knowledge of EU/EEA law and competition law.
As a member of our department of Finance and Corporate, Alexander assists with corporate law issues and transactions.
Prior to joining Brækhus, Alexander interned at Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd. (formerly British Airport Authority plc) in London, United Kingdom. He has also been seconded to one of the world’s leading IT companies where he assisted with the preparation of tenders, negotiations and other issues related to IT contracts, public procurement and privacy.
Alexander was involved in the development of the Digitalisation Agency’s Cloud Management Agreement (SSA-SKY). He has also acted as a data protection officer for one of the fastest growing technology companies in Norway.
