Karna Fog is an associate in Brækhus’ department for Technology, Industry and Trade. She assists clients upon matters relating to IT contracts, privacy matters, public procurement, information security, intellectual property (IP) such as trademarks, copyright, patents and designs, as well as marketing law and trade secrets, and other matters related to law and technology.
Fog has a master’s degree in law from the University of Bergen. She has an LL.M. in ICT Law at the University of Oslo which includes the course «Robot Regulation», «Internet Governance», «Privacy and Data Protection», «Cybersecurity Regulation» and «Legal Technology: Artificial Intelligence and Law». Her master’s thesis addresses the processing of personal data in the workplace during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Fog has also studied economics and has taken the single course “Patenting and Commercialization of Biotech and MedTech Inventions” at NTNU – Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and “Object-oriented programming” at the University of Oslo.
